Who they are
Falcon Adventure describes itself as British–Egyptian managed and says it has been running trips for about 20 years in Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh. The contact page gives two addresses: Sheraton Road in Hurghada, and an office in the Pyramids Garden area of Giza. The website shows prices in pounds sterling by default, which tells you who most of the customers are. Guides work in English.
The site calls the company "fully licensed and insured" but does not print a Ministry of Tourism licence number. If that matters to you, and on a Cairo trip with flights it should, ask for the number and the licensed company name before you send the deposit.
What they sell in Hurghada
The Hurghada list is the standard one, with a few extras:
- Sea: a Hula Hula and Paradise Island snorkel cruise, a Dolphin House snorkel cruise, private boats to the islands, the semi-submarine
- Desert: a single-quad safari with a Bedouin village, camel ride and barbecue
- History: Luxor and Cairo day trips, and Nile cruises
- Other: scuba diving and PADI courses, airport transfers, portable Wi-Fi rental
Their Cairo-by-plane trip is listed from Sharm El Sheikh. For Cairo from Hurghada, ask whether it goes by plane or by road. Those are two very different days, explained on our Cairo by plane and Cairo by road pages.
How paying works
You can book online, by email, through Facebook or by WhatsApp. If you book through one of their reps at your hotel, you should get a paper receipt. The FAQ sets the deposit at 10–20% for most trips and 50% for Cairo and Luxor. The rest is paid in cash on the day in pounds, euros, dollars or Egyptian pounds, or by a card payment link. Children aged 2 to 11 pay the child price, and under-2s join most trips free.
The cancellation rule is short. Inside 24 hours you lose the full price. Earlier than that, there is no fixed refund. The FAQ says to contact them and they will try to help. Flights on air trips are non-refundable, and they recommend travel insurance. Local trips can be moved to another day with enough notice. Trips with flights cannot.
Questions to ask before you book
- Which licensed company issues the receipt?
- Is the Luxor or Cairo trip a shared bus, a private car, or a flight?
- Are entry tickets included, or paid on the day? Compare with the fee card on our Luxor page.
- On island boats: is the beach fee in the price?
- If the boat is cancelled for wind, do you get the deposit back or another day?
Booking the same trips on a platform
The trips Falcon sells are also on GetYourGuide, Headout and Viator, run by Hurghada operators and often on very similar boats and buses. On a platform you pay by card, the inclusions are written on the listing, and most trips can be cancelled for free up to 24 hours before. That is the main difference from a deposit plus a refund you have to ask for. The pages linked below list those options for each trip.
