Notes, agency by agency
Mannai Tours. Two domains, mannaitours.com and mannaitour.com, both down when we checked. Search listings show safari, sea trips, diving, glass-bottom boats, Cairo and Luxor, and say trips are insured. The address given is in the Villages area. Confirm it by phone.
Mazin Tours. Sells mainly to Hungarian travellers through a .hu website, which timed out for us. Its search listing shows Cairo and Luxor trips, quad and jeep safaris with a Bedouin village, and dolphin swims with pickup from Hurghada, Makadi, Sahl Hasheesh and El Gouna.
Osheen Tours. Has a Hurghada listing on Tripadvisor and active social pages. The osheen-tours.com domain showed unrelated content when we checked. Don't confuse it with OS Hurghada Tours, a different website.
Ramashka Tours. Its Tripadvisor listing puts the office on Sheraton Road, opposite the Starfish restaurant, with Luxor, Cairo, Dolphin House and quad trips. The website linked from its X account didn't load.
Relax Tours Egypt. An English-only booking site for tours, transfers, visas, flights, buses, ferries, eSIMs and hotels. Its Tripadvisor listing sits under transportation. It shows an IATA badge but no Ministry licence number.
Smile. Two separate websites. Smile Hurghada (smile-hurghada.com, 19N/1 Magawish) says it was founded in 1997, is licensed and shows a licence reference on its site. It asks a 25% deposit (50% over Christmas and New Year) and takes Visa, Mastercard, PayPal or cash on arrival. Smile Tours (smiletours.net) lists safaris, Luxor including a two-day balloon trip, the Sindbad submarine, the semi-submarine and parasailing. Check which one you are messaging.
Karex Tours. A Russian-language site with English and Romanian versions. It says it books directly with excursion organisers it has vetted, and has no ties to package tour operators. Karex.pl is an unrelated Polish road-building company.
Canary Tours Egypt. Listed on Sheraton Road. Boats, safaris, a stargazing jeep trip, Luxor, Cairo, transfers, plus Jordan, Morocco and Turkey. Online booking with card payment in four currencies.
Bon Voyage Hurghada. Says it was established in 1977, holds Ministry of Tourism licence 179 and is an ETAA member. The office is on old Sheraton Road beside the Roma hotel. The site comes in English, French, German and Romanian, and the Facebook page is in Romanian. It sells Luxor and Cairo by bus, quad safaris, snorkelling and diving.
ALS Tour. We found only a business-directory entry in El Kawther and a website selling Hurghada hotel stays. We found no excursion programme or licence.
Jumbo. No Hurghada agency called Jumbo Tours turned up. Club Jumbo is a hotel-club label used by a French tour operator in resorts such as Abu Soma and Hurghada. Its guests are offered excursions on site. Jumanji Hurghada Tours is an unrelated business.
Tourific Excursions. Small-group and private trips: Cairo, Luxor, Alexandria, El Alamein, Fayoum, private speedboats, Dolphin House, Orange Bay, Sharm El Naga, quads, horses. Contact is by WhatsApp. No address or licence number on the site.
Before paying any of them
